Monique Shire, store manager of Wilson & Son Jewelers, is a second-generation authority onjewelry and gemstones. In December 2006, she brought her deep knowledge and polished expertise in selling and redesigning jewelry to one of the oldest and most established businesses in Westchester County, Wilson & Son Jewelers.
Prior to joining Wilson & Son, Monique spent 30 years working alongside her father, Maurice Shire, in wholesale jewelry and gemstones. At Maurice Shire Inc, she sold loose color stones to both retail and manufacturing jewelry giants as Tiffany, Harry Winston, Cartier and Oscar Heyman Bros.
Earning her BA from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, Monique furthered her education at Fordham University in New York, obtaining a Masters Degree in Finance. In 1993, Monique was elected into the prestigious 24KT Club of the City of New York.
Monique is a 30 year volunteer for her alma mater and a past president of the Wheaton College Alumnae/I Association. She is also a past member of the Board of Trustees. She actively participates in the choir and various committees for Congregation B’Nai Yisrael, in Armonk, New York. She is a charter member of the Women’s Business Connection and resides in Armonk, New York with her two daughters.
